For those certain highlights or white pop-out outlines on a darker background, this pen surprised me. Everyone rants and raves about the Signo Uni-Ball white gel pen, but in all honesty - I hate Signo gel pens. They always clog and the ink never flows smoothly. Well, this Pentel Hybrid pen may look cloggy sometimes, but it flows so smoothly. Not as opaque as other white gel pens, but it does it's job. It dries pretty fast, so going over the same lines is a little challenging, but overall, I'd buy this pen again in a heartbeat.

I own both this Pentel Hybrid and a Uni-Ball Signo, and I like this one better. The ink gets a little more defined, and the pen is so gorgeous!

This pen dries in fast, even though it's a ballpoint pen. The white ink acts like glue and ball gets stuck to the pen when you don't use it for a while. Then you can't get it going again, no matter what you try.

I definitely am preferring this over the white gelly roll (unexpectedly and sadly...sort of). It's because the gelly roll mixes with the black gelly roll making a gray while this one doesn't! If you give the black time to dry the gelly roll would work but you don't have to wait with the pentel. It also writes a thick globby (in a good way) more opaque line.

I didn't like it. It's not as white as seen in the pictures, after drying it looks like a gray color instead of bright white. I'm dissapointed.
