This short barrel waterbrush is equipped with a medium size tip of white nylon filaments. Its green neon color make it easy to spot and find among your supplies on the go. Its water carrying capacity is large enough to complete several small watercolor sketches without refilling. It can pick up color directly from watercolor pans, or it can be used to blend dry watercolor pencil marks.

While I already own several waterbrushes, I just couldn't resist adding this green one to my collection. I tend to use medium size tips more frequently than any other size. To clean it between color changes, you can simply press the barrel to flush it and wipe it on a tissue or paper towel.

While the waterbrush white tip might get stained with some pigments (particularly green ones), it does not hinder its functionality. Successive washes do not get contaminated with the stained brush tip.

The compact travel waterbrush would make a great addition to any sketching kit and allow you to employ watercolor techniques with minimal setup and quick clean up.

This was my very first water brush, and it is so handy! I love how easy it is to fill and it seals very tight -- I have taken it filled in my hiking backpack twice now and it has not leaked. I usually have to refill it once every two paintings I do. The brush is great for broad strokes and fairly small details too.

It's called compact, but it holds a lot of water, and is about the size of a regular pen. The bristles are nice and springy, and are great for broad strokes and detailed strokes, since it holds its shape well. It's very watertight, including the cap. I stored mine upside down (I'm not sure if that's what you're supposed to do) and I found condensation and a drop of water in the cap, but none outside of it. I can't wait to take this traveling!

Works for sealing envelopes. I haven't done any water color painting since I was a kid, but I wanted and envelope sealer instead of having to lick the envelopes. I figured this could be dual purpose. A larger brush size would be easier for covering the glue of the envelopes, but this still does the job.
